Arranged Employment

Arranged Employment

The Canadian Immigration process can be expedited if a Canadian employer makes an offer of full-time permanent employment in Canada to a foreign skilled worker national.

Arranged Employment can be one of  the ways to qualify for a Canada Permanent Resident Visa through the Federal Skilled Worker category.

Points are awarded under the Arranged Employment:

Permanent job offer from a Canadian employer, which has been approved by the Canadian Government Department of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) and issued a positive or neutral Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA):

Permanent job offer from a Canadian employer, without the necessity of HRSDC approval, if the job offer falls under a category that is considered LMIA-exempt.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada also awards an additional ten (10) points for Arranged Employment through the Federal Skilled Worker category in the Canadian immigration process, contributing to the total requirement of 67 points.

These points are awarded under the Arranged Employment Factor if the employment offer includes an LMIA and a full-time job offer. An additional 5 points may also be awarded under the Adaptability Factor.
