Good day to you and all of the CPNIS staff. We are very thankful for all that you have done for us. I would just like to let you know that we arrive here in Canada last May 17, 2015. This is just an update from our previous testimony before we arrive here in Winnipeg.
We followed every advice you gave us during the group pre departure orientation. Everything you said was 100% accurate. We didn’t encounter any problems with the border and immigration officer. They never asked us about settlement funds as you said and all they cared about was the landing documents and our passport/visa. We went to Service Canada and got our Social Insurance Number immediately. After that, we went to get our Manitoba Health Card and opened a bank account at CIBC. We are well and on our way to living our Canadian dream thanks to you.
